Love this olive button down maxi find from Target!
This is a perfect piece for transitioning into fall. It’s still been warm out so its great to have a sleeveless but full length dress & this color is definitely a top trend for the season. There are multiple ways to wear this piece, but I was feeling it as a dress this day. It also makes for a super cute cover up over a monochromatic top and pant (will post sooner or later). & When it starts to get colder out, I plan on playing with it layered under thicker coats or even over long-sleeve sweaters. That’s the best part about fashion – you’re allowed to have fun with it!
I tried on multiple belts I had laying around but really didn’t like how bulky they were or how it created such a separation for this dress. So instead, I used three safety pins to pull it all together at the waist, create some shape and keep the beautiful olive color flowing from top to bottom. (Disclaimer: be careful with your safety pins and how tight you’re pulling it together because you could cause unfortunate holes in your wardrobe!)
I loved the mild side slits, and left a few of the bottom buttons unbuttoned for a cute front slit as well.
This look definitely felt very free and relaxing so I paired it with these open-toe strappy nude heels by Steve Madden.
The olive dress + nude sandals + my oxblood nails
= Perfect fall color palette!
Stella & Dot Spotlight: For the jewelry, I went with my daily bracelet delicates along with my everyday stackable rings. Both bracelets are Stella & Dot. The bottom is the Alice Bracelet which is such a gorgeous and delicate everyday sparkle piece and for only $49 makes a beautifullll gift! The top bracelet is our Breast Cancer Awareness feature bracelet called the Resilience Cuff codesigned by Cobie Smulders (Robin Scherbatsky from HIMYM). It features hand-set pave stones and an amazing design of arrows representing the warriors who are struggling with breast cancer everyday. Net proceeds of the cuff benefit the Noreen Fraser Foundation and Women’s Cancer research. Also featured in the full look: a pop of pearls peaking out from behind the collar. ❤
Oh, & how gorg is this Henna?!
