Over the weekend, a few friends and I went to Napa to spend some QT as we bid our good friend adieu as he heads off to Hong Kong yet again!
We visited two wineries: the Buena Vista Winery and Raymond Winery.
Buena Vista Winery has such a grand and old timely scenery – I can only imagine how gorgeous it is in the summer when all the grape vines are ripe & ready to be turned into wine!
As usual, my wardrobe is a winter rebel lol. While everyone around me is rocking their boots and heavy knitted scarves, I’m over here looking like this! Ha! I paired a maxi skirt with ruffled hem with an appropriately wine-colored crop top & chose these forest green lace up sandals because they went well with the fall color palette my ensemble was heading in. I covered up with a cream & leather jacket and finished the look with some of my fave pieces from our newest Stella & Dot spring collection!
Jenny and I were so ready for burgers before our first flight of wine tasting was over!
& we totally got our wish – well for food, not exactly burgers. We headed over to R&D Kitchen who probably had just as many dogs as people sitting outside LOL, but we loved the company & the food! I ordered the Carnitas sandwich (BOMB!) & traded my other half for a piece of Jenny’s Crispy Chicken sandwich (also BOMB!)
This little pup was hanging out at R&D with his papa who you can see in the background ❤
Next stop was Raymond Winery – quite the step outside your typical winery setup. The outside seemed rather plain minus this pretty cool photo opp set up on the lawn with gorgeous white chairs and colorful hanging frames.
The first room we went in (The Crystal room – not pictured) was full of glass, crystals, and risque dressed mannequins – emphasizing the provocative vision of their wine collection I presume. (A bit tacky in my opinion, but to each their own!)
The next room, The Velvet Room, was closer to more my style yet still a little excessive. Red velvet dripping everywhere but the Most amazing LEOPARD FLOORS! Will totally be putting those into my home someday lol.
Here are some close-ups of my jewels that day:
I’m seriously obsessed with the detail of this piece. It’s called the Collage statement necklace because it really is this jaw-dropping collage of incredible jewels and colors and (my fave) a bejeweled serpent head! ❤
& these bracelets are definitely going to be in heavy rotation for this season’s arm parties!! Pictured are the Simple Knot Cuff + the Ainsley Cuff.
